All activities need to be booked in advance.
Visit our happy huskies in Beitostølen!
Our mission is to create quality hands-on experiences that are unique every time. By engaging our guests as much as possible into the processes, we nurture their curiosity, demonstrate new skills and expand their knowledge.
Our kennel is manageable and small with happy and social huskies who love to work as sled dogs. We keep our dogs healthy and motivated by involving them in varied activities all year around.
Besides guided tours, we also have two cozy wilderness cabins and a wood fired sauna on site, which are off grid and have no electricity nor running water, if you want to try out a real Norwegian mountain cabin.
Check out our website for more information and booking.

Snowshoe hike Land of the Trolls
Step into a winter wonderland where legends come alive. This guided snowshoe hike takes you through one of Norway’s most breathtaking mountain landscapes — right at the edge of Jotunheimen National Park, home to towering peaks, the mythical Giants, and mischievous trolls.
No skis experience? No problem. Snowshoeing is the perfect way to explore the magic of Norwegian winter — no previous experience needed, just a reasonable level of fitness and a taste for adventure.
We’ll trek through pristine snow, far from the crowds, with one or more Alaskan husky joining our journey. The route takes us through deep forests, open areas and up the mountain Liahøvda. From the summit we have a spectacular view over the area and far into the National park of Jotunheimen.
Along the way, your guide will prepare a steaming hot drink over an open fire and serve delicious snacks — the perfect reward for your winter adventure.

Traditionnally, the idea is to alternate sweating session with time to cool down. The benefits? Relaxation, muscular recovery, and improved blood circulation.
Our sauna is located by Øyangen lake, where you can take a dip inbetween sessions, when the lake is not frozen.
