From Beitostølen to Tutjern, the distance is approximately 2.6–2.8 km one way. Choose the trail that suits you best – this is a lovely hike through vibrant alpine nature. Tutjern offers a great spot for a break, with space for both play and relaxation.
If you want to extend the trip, the Melbyfjellet round is about 2 km, passing checkpoints 23–56–23. It’s best to walk the loop clockwise – the first 15 metres are steep, so take care. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with views over the beautiful lake Olevatn. Head to the viewpoint and rest on the flat rock – this is a hike we especially recommend!
